EVP Protocols
PRI has very strict standard of practice while conducting an EVP session.
Standard of Practice
1. Only one person asks questions during an EVP session.
2. No whispering during an EVP session or during an investigation.
3. Any sounds coming from a person should be indentified while it happened. The most common one if the stomach growling.
4. If the investigator who is not asking the question spots something interesting during the EVP session then they can speak to pint it out and explain what occured other than that the other investigator should be completely quiet.
5. During the review any potential EVP's should be verified by at least 1 other source that the noise did not come from something non paranormal. This source can be another audio recorder in the room or from a video source. This step is vital for verifying the data is indeed genuine.
6. PRI has developed a script for investigators to follow while conducting short 10 minute EVP Sessions. This script should be followed precisely.
